“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”--Thomas Merton
Painting is my "quiet voice." In life, I am outspoken, and fear my voice is at times not well-modulated. Too often I interrupt lest I lose what I want to articulate. When I am painting, there is no need for me to speak loudly or interrupt. My conversation with my painting, the motif, and with artists past and present unfolds in that moment as it is meant to.
As a collector myself, the paintings I want to live with are ones whose subtle individuality is rediscovered daily, whether during a passing glance or an intimate, close-up moment. It is my hope that among my paintings, one will resonate with you.

Daughter of a Painter/Designer, I first embraced my father’s artistic legacy at the invitation of Misia and Tony at their Broadhead Barham Studio in Middleburg, VA, where I was introduced to drawing from life and painting in oils. My fine art education has continued at the Southern Atelier, Sarasota, FL under Robert Liberace and Charles Miano.
My work resides in collections across the U.S., including Beaver Creek CO, the DC Metro area, Naples, FL, Vero Beach, FL, Chicago, IL, Rochester, NY, and Bellingham, WA.
